For some unexplained reason, I am feeling so confused with my life at the moment. The thoughts and worries about school seem to be colliding with those of home and making a hugely big mess in my mind. I don’t suppose I am the only one to feel it at this time, but still, it isn’t the most satisfying sensation.
Over the summer, I haven’t done much. I have had fun going on holiday and messing about with friends, but other than that, nothing much has happened. I went to see several movies, including Eclipse, The A-team and Karate Kid. My review of those tree movies would be as follows: Eclipse, laughable. The A-team, die die die [explosion]! And Karate Kid, recommended.
Actually, yes, I rather enjoyed Karate Kid. I am now definitely going to visit China soon, because some of the scenery was beautiful such as the Great Wall and the Forbidden City. The kung-fu was really stylish, but depicted in a passionate way, if you get me. It inspires you to want to do kung-fu yourself. And then the boy from the States had a real character. You really got into the boy’s shoes and felt what he was feeling. And though the end was predictable, you felt strongly into the story. Not to mention, it had Jackie Chan and Will Smith’s son. However, having said all that, it was very personal I think, because my friend came out of the theatre with less of an enthusiasm, but still found it okay. Either way, I’d recommend seeing it.
I posted another vlog here and another photo here.

@Phoebe
On the contrary, Phoebe, it helped. It’s made me think about school and friends – that I’ve got to get my mind set and deal with things. I’m a lot more open-minded about what this year is going to enroll upon me. I’ll just have to take it as the cookie crumbles, but talking always helps for me.
Darn… I feel kinda bad now for making you worry about school 😛 I’m guessing talking about it didn’t really help 🙁 Also, I agree with you on the whole scenery thing, China does look gorgeous, and I kept having to remind myself that it was set in present day times and not ancient China 😛 Hrrrmmmmm, I can’t think of anything else to say so I’ll sign off here 🙂
Sayonara!
(Yes I know that’s Japanese but I don’t know any Chinese :P)

That sounds like an interesting taste! I think in the case of seafood in general, it has to be cooked right or it will taste like you’re chewing on a tire. Though every time one of my friends tells me they tasted something new (alligator, shark, etc) they say it tasted like chicken. HOW is it possible everything tastes like chicken?? lol 🙂
yes, that is the quote! My mom loooooves to tell me that.
I think I actually may go see Karate Kid, I’ve always been a fan of Will Smith and his family. Are you back in school? I’m sorry you’re feeling so worried, it always complicates everything. 🙁 Hope everything works out!
