Nerd Matter

My revision schedule says I should work for 4 hours a day, but in reality, I’m doing around 6 hours, from 9-12 and 2-5. That is Nerd Matter #1. I have to revise during every day of my holiday and this is supposed to be the easier year. But as people on twitter will know, that’s all I go on about, so I’ll cease rambling now.

During my free time, I’m entirely working on the website. Just yesterday night, I made my new portfolio online. It was my first site made by Adobe Flash and ActionScript 3.0. Any tutorials I took, I will most definitely be crediting on the Credits page. Being the first, it means it generally is very bad, but I put a lot of effort into it and am quite impressed that I got something functional out of it. Any of you Flash experts must remember the frustration of being a beginner. Anyway, that’s Nerd Matter #2. Learning Flash (and also other photoshop and programming tutorials which I won’t mention at this stage).

Note: Please tell me if there are any problems with viewing this. So far, I’ve heard no complaints.

My last blog post was a little excessive, but if you have any suggestions of how I could improve this site, they would be greatly appreciated. Any tutorials or tips that you really want? Or some content? Or just general functionality of the site? Anyhow, just let me know in the comments or by email. I’ll probably write a few tutorials in the next few days at some point, so watch out for those. They’ll all be listed in the ‘Updates’ tab on the sidebar.

I’m sorry I couldn’t make this a lot more interesting, but when all you do is revise, there is not much material to share but for Nerd Matter. And I really think they should officialise that phrase. Blog again soon!
