A Smile on My Face

I am delighted at how many people have applied for the Year Awards. Last year, I admit, it was a slight fail, but this year is incredible. There are 16 entries for Best Website, 18 for Best Website Name, 9 for Best Quality Content so far. I’m amazed and thrilled. I wonder how many the contest can get before voting begins. Interested?

This morning, I woke up and a smile ran across my face. It was about 7:55 and I had just rolled over with the intention of sleeping for another 2 hours. The light from the window shone on my face, causing me to open my eyes just slightly. Outside, on the neighbors roof, were several layers of snow. There have been forecasts all over Great Britain of snow, but I never thought it would reach here until at least early December. I mean, it’s the 27th of November, for goodness sake. The roofs are pristine white and the pavements have footprints from where the early-birds have been out walking.

I love snow. I think I’m naturally in tune with the cold. That’s where I feel most comfortable. I love being cold to warm myself up, but I dislike being hot to cool myself down. Being hot makes me stressed and flustered. Being cold makes me feel alive. Yes, I’m weird, but the snow has made me too happy to care about any of that! Teehee I LOVE SNOW!

As I have to go to my volunteering job soon, I don’t have much time to go anywhere. So it looks like I’m stuck at home for a few hours. I’m going to use my time to complete some things that I probably should have done a while ago. Like make a music video. Make a vlog. Record another few songs I came up with. Update everything I need to on the website. You get the idea.

This is an exciting time! =) So enjoy it while it lasts. Watch out on ‘Updates’ sidebar!
Soph.
