I’m Just Starting to Crawl

So I changed my layout … again. I tweeted that I may have an OCD for coding websites and that seems to be more true than I had originally anticipated it to be. Weirdly, changing layouts makes me seem somehow refreshed like changing the bed sheets and sleeping in the fresh smell of them. I’m odd. Forgive me.

School in 2 WEEKS or less now. I’m really nervous about my exams for the next few years, they are very important and I’ve already bitten my nails beyond my fingertips thinking about it. It’s just I can’t afford to make a mistake so I have to be extra careful and work even harder. Which means it’s going to be even harder to juggle between revision, work, website, hobbies and friends. So I have decided that for these last 2 weeks of the holiday I’m going to try and get as many updates on the site done as possible. Because after I go back, who knows whether I’ll be around much?

I have some advertising/link exchanges to sort out, a few hosting applications and a heck of a lot of more content to make. So expect some new things appearing and I will tell you about them in an edit of this blog.

A book to read ‘before you die’ is definitely ‘The Declaration’ by Gemma Malley. It’s cleverly written and shockingly truthful. You just want to tear all the pages up and shout out most of the characters, but all you can do is read on and on until the end hoping something can be done about the previous events in the book. And a film would be ‘Good Will Hunting’ about a maths genius from a bad background seeing a psychiatrist and falling in love. Sounds bad, but it’s actually quite touching.

So lovely visitors, bloggers, designers, writers, future astronauts.
I bid thee toodle-loo!

My first year of high school was completely devastating. I’m surprised I even lasted through it, but I know things have changed drastically since then. Keep on trucking! Things we’ll turn out the way they’re supposed to be. 🙂

Yup! I’m obsessed with words, grammar, and languages. I’ve had a gift for them my entire life. 😀 It’s the reason why I can’t wait for school. My two English classes, then French and Spanish.
They really say “writ” where you live? Really? For me, I’m always correcting “my friend and me/I” and “should/could/would of”. I get the same response you do, only I don’t do it under my breath. I interrupt them, and they forget what they’re saying, have to repeat it, and emphasise the part I corrected them on. Ahahaha…

Everyone makes mistakes. I thank people for pointing mine out, since then I’ve learned something, and will keep an eye out for that mistake.

I’m the same way you are. We had to analyse stories and the like, and I thought it was complete nonsense to do it. However, looking at it from a different perspective, it’s necessary to excel in writing. When you dissect a masterpiece, you’re seeing why it’s a masterpiece, thus giving you the information to make your own masterpiece. It’s difficult to transfer the elements, however, and not copy the previous piece of work.
I mean, making a fantasy world doesn’t require much analysis, but I’ve found it to be difficult if I didn’t dissect it myself after. Personally, I think that without cutting it up and looking at the pieces, any written work turns into crap.
