So hi hi hi!
I’m pretty sure the above greeting is completely against all rules of English grammar, but hey, Im feeling rebellious today.
I’ve been to Wales and returned, then I went to Malta and came back. It was so good. We went on a boat ride, a long drive to see the different bays, swam in the sea on high winds and saw fishies. The holiday was mostly about my mum meeting her old friends from school, college, etc. She went their as a little person, see?
Because of these meetings I’ve made a few more friends abroad myself. I know them on facebook now. Oh, how useful the internet can be. And the food we ate while there … *no words to describe*. I mostly had swordfish. It was so unbelievably delicious. I even enjoyed the octopus. Not so keen on snails though, but I did try it and that’s what counts!
A little bit more on Malta. I was actually quite shocked at how touristy it was. For some reason, I wasn’t expecting it to be so much like that, but there’s hotels everywhere and tourist traps standing right before you. We got caught in 2 I’m ashamed to say. One was a restaurant and another was some sails pitch that pointlessly took up an hour of our time in order to try and sell something. Money seems to be sending people mad, as if you didn’t know already.

I am SO jealous…Malta? rawrrr. 🙂 you are definitely brave for trying octopus. what does it taste like? I tried snails once in France, but I don’t really remember whether I liked them or not. lol.
Unfortunately, every place has those select people who like to exploit tourists. I’m not even a tourist and I often have people come up to me trying to pull one over. Well, that’s life for ya. Hope everything’s going swell. 😀
G’day! Malta is amazing, non? I went there when I was like 10/11 – but I remember it being so amazing 🙂 And, yeah – it is really touristy. There was this Popeye thing I went to and some coach trip with the most boring lady EVER. When she spoke *yawwnnnn* Haha 🙂

And wow, swordfish, octopus, and snails (!!!) Now that is brave. The most I’ve tried is eel. 😯 I hope you had a great time and yay, boat rides! are awesome. (:
