Past Layouts

Demented Squirrel is currently on Version 10.2.

Attempting to make an original layout more feisty with the use of textured backgrounds and spacing.

Taking a more professional, clean approach to webdesign in the attempt to making it easier for visitors to navigate and find what they want.

Utilising my graphic tablet in featuring scribbles and drawings, giving a notepad and more personal effect for a more personal blog.

Bringing graphic design into the main element of the layout, version 8, with wooden textures and a box-like shape, is a more informative serious style design with a sense of fun.

Deciding to go with a photographic style, by placing a fixed background of a landscape and a box of text in front. I feel it gives a warm sense with a stylish look and really brings out a personal touch while still being clear and understandable.

Version 6, simple, elegant. Turning the site into more of a portfolio or showcase of work with it’s pureness and singular picture in the middle. The idea is to keep it short and sweet.

Known as Moo-Mare, named after 2010 (the year of the moo-mare) and made for it. Artistic wooden textures mixed with pink and blues and a distortedly strange graphic header. Put up on the 4th January 2010.

The name of this layout is ‘Your Mind Is My Camera’. I called it that because it features a distorted graphic of me holding a camera. As I am a writer, I work to take pictures from the mind and therefore your mind is my camera.

I call it ‘The WerPer Bore’…because it was done for Project WerPer and it is pretty boring. Don’t get me wrong, I still like it. It was added on August 4th 2009 and is currently still up.

The name is ‘Acorn Invasion’, made to look more squirrel-like. All that seemed to happen is that it looked more demented, but a lot of hard work and effort was put into it. It was added up in late June 2009.

‘Raynbow’, because of the rays of colour and the colourfulness in general, was version 1 of Demented Squirrel. It saw the beginning of DS. From 18th April 2009, it was up and scaring the likes out of everyone. XD

You may be interested to know what Kantango layouts looked like, however I warn you, any good web designer would be absolutely appalled by the sight of these…
